Will the Word file look like the PDF?
No. This is a basic text extraction. Columns, images, and exact spacing are not rebuilt.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Only if the scan already contains a text layer. FileNest does not run optical character recognition.
Where is the file processed?
On this server, with Poppler. It is deleted after the retention window.
